Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit, specializing in Med Surg. This position is located in Utica, NY, and offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a dynamic environment.

Submission Requirements:

• Will consider locals (within 75 miles)
• Up-to-date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in Med Surg with stroke stepdown experience and documents travel experience.
• Travel experience required.
• Skills checklist matching specialty.
• Driver's license with address that matches demographics.
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications (NIH certification can be obtained prior to start).
• NURSYS report for license verification with an active NY License & all active RN licenses.
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.

Job Description:

• Unit: MS Stroke Stepdown Patients
• Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
• Floating Required: Yes
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Unit Specifics:

• Common Diagnoses: Stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, pulmonary issues.
• Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes.
• Patient Demographics: Adults
• Number of Beds in the Unit: 64
