Unit Information:

• Patient Diagnoses: Renal Failure, Pulmonary issues, biopsies, chest tubes, dialysis, catheters, lumbar puncture, kyphoplasty
• Special Procedures: Preferred Cath Lab experience, 1 procedure room, 2 recovery bays, 2 CT rooms, 1 Bronch room
• Special Equipment: CT Procedures, Fluoroscopy

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• 5 years as a Critical Care RN
• ACLS and BLS certification

• Pre and post-procedure care
• Gastrostomy Tube Placement
• Liver Biopsy
• Paracentesis
• Embolization
• Nephrostomy
• Renal Angiography
• Chest Tube Placement
• Lung Biopsy
• Thoracentesis
• Central Venous Access - Non-Tunneled/PICC placement
• Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision
• Endovascular Interventions
• IV Therapy skills/knowledge
• Monitoring procedural sedation
• Radiation and laser safety
