Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Ortho Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedic care in Maryville, TN. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work night shifts, providing critical care in a fast-paced environment.

As an Ortho RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing orthopedic cases, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise in this specialty will be vital in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in Orthopedic nursing.
• Active TN RN license or multistate license.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred.
• First-time travelers will not be accepted.

This position requires floating to like units based on skill set and weekend coverage every other weekend, which may change based on need. The medication system used is Omnicell.
