Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Medical Surgical RN in Lufkin, TX. This position offers an exciting opportunity for dedicated nursing professionals seeking a contract role in a dynamic healthcare environment. The schedule for this role is weekend days, from 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM, providing a perfect work-life balance while making a difference in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in wound care and other specialized nursing procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records using MEDHOST EMR.

Requirements:

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Ability to float to other units as necessary.
• Scrubs: Dark Navy Blue.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
