Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Level 3 NICU with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. We are looking for skilled RRTs who have a passion for providing exceptional care to our most vulnerable patients.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 36 in the Level 3 NICU
• Staffing: 2 Respiratory Therapists on Day Shift, 2 on Night Shift
• Patient Ratios: 2 therapists for 36 beds during peak volumes
• Equipment: Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide, Vapotherms
• EMR: Meditech and NeoNotes

Typical Responsibilities:

• Attend high-risk deliveries
• Ventilator management with conventional and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation
• Surfactant administration
• Blood gas acquisition and interpretation
• Nitric Oxide administration

Qualifications:

• Must Have: Level 3 NICU experience; candidates with 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience will be considered
• Certifications: NRP certification required; STABLE certification preferred
