Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab in San Jose, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled RNs looking to make a difference in patient care within a dynamic team environment.
Unit Information:
- Location: Cath Lab
- Number of Beds: 4 Cath Lab Rooms
- Number of Staff: 20 RNs
- Staffing Mix: 2 RNs and 2 RTs, with 8-9 RNs staffed daily
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
- Night Shift: On call only
- Patient Ratios: 2 RNs + 2 RTs per patient in procedure
- Type of Equipment: GE + Philips
- EMR: MacLab - Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile:
Skill Set:
- Must Have: ACLS, BLS, NIH, Current RN license
- Preferred: Neuro and Electrophysiology experience
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Cardiac Cath lab procedures
- Heart Caths
- Peripheral procedures
- A-fib/Flutter - SVT, VT, etc.
- Stroke and complex Neuro interventions
Best Personality Fit: Teamwork REQUIRED
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Current RN license
Floating Area(s): Recover cath lab patients
Dress Code: Scrubs provided by the hospital
Unit Guidelines/Policies: On call by rotation if need arises.
