Join our team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) at a leading acute-care hospital in Marrero, LA. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. Our facility is known for its commitment to quality healthcare and patient satisfaction.

This unit does not offer straight 3x12 schedules. Travelers can either work alternating 3x12s and 4x12s every other week, or they can work straight 4x12s. A minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele/Neuro Epic experience is required, with strong neuro skills necessary. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6, and weekend and holiday requirements are in place. Please note that holidays such as 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, and 1/1 have blackout dates and cannot be approved on this unit. Any holiday week requests for time off (RTO) are likely to be denied, so please discuss this with your recruiter ahead of time.

Unit Info: The patient population includes Neuro/Stroke patients, Vascular Surgeries, Multi-Level Back Surgeries, CABG, and ECMO.

Required Skills: Candidates must be proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, CVA, pre/post neuro surgery, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. Scrubs required are a navy and white combination.

Certifications: BLS, NIH, and ACLS are required. Preferred certifications include CPI. RTO should be less than 5 days or added to the end of the contract.
