Description

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Surgical Technician for a 12-week travel assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have operating room experience, Level I Trauma experience, and proficiency in multiple surgical specialties, including robotics.

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities
Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room
Support procedures involving general surgery, total joint orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, trauma, and robotics
Assist with DaVinci robotic procedures, including cardiac cases
Provide call coverage, including weekends, with a 30-minute response time
Work rotating day, evening, and night shifts

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of operating room experience within the last 3 years; 3 years preferred
At least 1 year of Level I Trauma experience within the last 3 years
Minimum 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years
Proficiency in general surgery, total joint orthopedics, craniotomy and spine procedures, vascular surgery, trauma, and DaVinci robotics
Transplant experience preferred
Availability for rotating shifts, call, and weekends

NurseAmerica Healthcare Job ID #12. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
