Description

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Utica, New York. The ideal candidate will have outpatient infusion experience, chemotherapy certification, and the ability to administer blood products and provide infusion care to adult and geriatric patients.

Location: Utica, New York

Responsibilities
Provide outpatient infusion care to adult and geriatric patients with oncology, neurological, anemia, gastrointestinal, and other conditions
Administer chemotherapy and blood products
Operate Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps
Document patient care using EPIC and utilize Omnicell, Ascom, and glucometer technology
Provide safe, efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
Active New York RN License
BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy certifications required
Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion experience
Chemotherapy certification required
Must meet the 75-mile radius rule; local candidates will be considered at the local rate

NurseAmerica Healthcare Job ID #17. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
