Description

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-week travel assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for rehabilitation patients with complex medical needs, including TBI, burns, stroke, transplant, and LVAD.

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to rehabilitation patients with TBI, burns, stroke, disabilities, and transplant needs
Provide care for patients with LVAD and Impella devices
Perform breathing treatments, chest tube and tracheostomy care
Manage CPAP/BiPAP, drains, feeding tubes, fistulas, PICCs, central lines, ports, and wound vacs
Care for patients with bone marrow transplant (BMT), hematology, oncology, and general medical needs
Administer and monitor medications, including antiseizure medications, insulin, and heparin

Qualifications:
Previous rehabilitation nursing experience
Experience caring for patients with complex medical and rehabilitation needs
Experience with the procedures, devices, and treatments listed above
Ability to work rotating day and night shifts

NurseAmerica Healthcare Job ID #18. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
