Position Overview

A leading nonprofit, Magnet-designated pediatric hospital and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to join its specialized cardiac surgical team.

This opportunity is open to Surgical Techs coming from either a strong pediatric OR background OR strong CVOR background. Pediatric CVOR experience is ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Prepare specialized instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain strict sterile technique and surgical safety standards
• Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs
• Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, anesthesia, perfusion, and OR staff
• Support efficient room setup, turnover, and surgical workflow

Requirements

• Surgical Technologist experience required
• Strong pediatric OR experience OR strong CVOR experience required
• Candidates with pediatric experience without CVOR experience will be considered
• Candidates with CVOR experience without pediatric experience will be considered
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR procedures
