Minimum Requirements – PET/CT &amp; Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging required. Experience performing PET/CT studies, diagnostic nuclear medicine scans, and CT imaging in an acute care setting.

Education:
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure / Certifications:

ARRT (CT) and/or Nuclear Medicine certification (NMTCB or ARRT-NM) required
BLS (AHA) required
State license required if applicable

Skills:

Experience performing PET/CT scans and Nuclear Medicine procedures
Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration
Experience with CT imaging for PET/CT attenuation correction
Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems

Schedule:

40 hours per week
8-hour day shifts, Monday – Friday

Additional Notes:

Unit: PET/CT – Nuclear Medicine
Care Setting: Acute care hospital
12 hours orientation provided
