Description

Job Summary: Ultrasonographer/Vascular Sonographer – Dublin Methodist Hospital

- Independently performs ultrasound examinations based on patient symptoms/medical history and previous test results.
- Searches for possible pathology during exams as indicated by clinical information.
- Reviews and discusses ultrasound findings with the radiologist for diagnosis.
- Utilizes strong experience with GE ultrasound equipment (GE Logiq e10).
- Works in a 200+ bed hospital setting, using EPIC EMR.
- No vascular exams required except for abdominal Doppler studies.
- Wears charcoal grey scrubs as per department policy.
- Maintains BLS certification and appropriate ARDMS/RVT credentials.
- Required to take call every other weekend (12am–10am).
- Follows a set schedule: Wed/Thurs 4:00pm–12:30am, Sat/Sun 10:00am–10:30pm.
