Job Summary (List Format):

- Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement physical therapy care for assigned patients.
- Ensure accountability and responsibility for patient physical therapy services.
- Adhere to all standards and regulations of the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
- Provide technical therapy care, including appropriate supplies, equipment, and interventions.
- Collect relevant patient data from medical charts and healthcare team members; consult with physicians as needed.
- Independently assess various patient types assigned.
- Identify additional patient needs during evaluation and exercise sound judgment in requesting or scheduling further tests.
- Interpret evaluation results and set relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable therapy goals.
- Reassess patient progress regularly in accordance with department and regulatory guidelines.
- Recommend and discuss appropriate therapy equipment with patients and families.

Requirements:

- Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid LPT (Licensed Physical Therapist) license in Texas (or compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only).

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
