Job Summary

Prepare procedure rooms, sterile trays, and specialized equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures.
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
Support both temporary and permanent pacemaker placements.
Assist with circulatory support devices such as Impella and IABP.
Set up, calibrate, and monitor hemodynamic equipment.
Obtain, calculate, and analyze hemodynamic data, including cardiac output and oximetry readings.
Operate power injectors and other associated sterile equipment.
Assist with patient positioning and monitoring throughout procedures.
Maintain digital imaging and cardiovascular information systems (CVIS).
Support vascular access, sheath removal, radial band application, and hemostasis.
Recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias.
Maintain inventory levels and ensure readiness of procedure rooms.
Adhere to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.
Participate in the department's on-call rotation.
Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on equipment.
Minimum of 3 years recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required.
Strong experience with invasive cardiac procedures.
Required experience with Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP).
Preferred experience with permanent pacemaker placement.
