Job Summary (List Format):

Duties:
- Position patients on examining table and place specified coil (receiver) near the area of interest, following Radiologist protocols.
- Demonstrate use of communication microphone for patient-technologist interaction during examination.
- Enter patient data (history, anatomical area, scan orientation, position) into computer.
- Input scan sequence commands and adjust MRI transmitters/receivers as required.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort via control room window and closed circuit TV.
- View and assess image quality on video display screen.
- Photograph images by entering data on camera keyboard.
- Alert staff to safety risks associated with metal in the magnet room.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:
- 1-3 years’ experience as an MRI Technician.
- Strong critical thinking and decisive judgement skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Capable of working independently.
