Description
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a 16-suite Operating Room environment.
- Circulate for a wide variety of surgical cases, with scrubbing experience highly preferred.
- Care for patients undergoing General, Da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma surgeries.
- Work in a Level II Trauma Center (Level I experience preferred).
- Manage a 1:1 patient ratio with an average caseload of 35–50 cases per day.
- Participate in on-call rotation covering weekends (Friday after shift through Monday 6:30 AM).
- Utilize Epic EMR system (recent experience required within 3 years).
- Float as needed across multiple UnityPoint campuses.
- Work 1–2 winter holidays as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and requirements, including providing care as a travel nurse (must have completed a recent travel assignment within 15 months and live at least 50 miles from facility).
- Demonstrate current Iowa or Compact RN license and BLS (AHA) certification.
- Preferred experience in Neuro, Ortho Trauma, Robotics, GYN, Urology, Transplants, Vascular, ENT, and Plastics surgeries.
