Job Summary – Occupational Therapist (Travel/Contract Position)

- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift Options: 5x8 hour days or 4x10 hour days (traveler's choice)
- Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks (traveler's choice)
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
- First Time Travelers: Accepted
- Certifications Required: BLS, NBCOT, Alaska OT License
- Skills Required: As per Unit Director (UD)
- On-Call Requirement: No
- Weekend Requirement: No
- Floating: Yes, to Outpatient, Acute Care, and SNF within scope as needed
- Block Schedule: Not available
- Local Candidates: Not accepted (must live 50+ miles from facility)
- Pending License: Not accepted
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (can be called off for 1, 10-hour shift per 2 weeks)
- RTO (Requested Time Off) Restrictions: Based upon request
- Preferred Experience (Not Required): Pediatrics, Adolescents
- Patient Population: All ages and diagnoses (outpatients, inpatients, SNF, wound care, pediatrics)
- Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital, Level IV Trauma, Acute Care, Long Term Care, Outpatient
- Bed Count: 46 Acute Care, 22 LTC
- Scrub/Attire: Any color scrubs or business casual
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: Free
- Housing: Facility-provided 1-bedroom apartment for traveler only (no pets, family must be approved, cleaning required upon departure)
