Job Summary (List Format):

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and continuously monitor patient condition throughout hospital stay.
- Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications, including IVs, and manage wound care and specialized medical equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-surgery care, medication regimens, and discharge instructions.
- Recognize and respond promptly to signs of medical deterioration to stabilize patients and prevent emergencies.
- Required to float between medical-surgical (MS) and telemetry units as part of a float pool.
- Must have at least 2 years of recent MS and Tele experience.
- Hold active Michigan RN license at time of submission.
- BLS certification (AHA) required.
- Work at McLaren Bay Region, a 404-bed acute care hospital in Bay City, MI, specializing in cardiovascular, neuroscience, women’s health, orthopedics, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, and oncology.
- Use Cerner EMR system and adhere to navy blue dress code.
