Description

Job Summary – General Ultrasound Tech (Weekend Nights)

- Position: General Ultrasound Technologist
- Facility: Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Magnet Designation, 562 beds
- Shift: 3x12 Weekend Nights (Friday–Sunday, 6:30pm–7:00am)
- Schedule: Every weekend required; block scheduling Mon–Thurs possible
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in ultrasound; Adult and ER settings
- Certifications Required: ARDMS, BLS, Active license (no pending accepted)
- First-Timers: Not accepted (must have prior relevant experience)
- On-Call Requirement: Yes, as needed
- Floating: No floating outside scope
- Locals: Accepted, no radius restriction
- Time Off: Ideally no more than 5 days requested
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week contract
- Ultrasound Skills Required:
- General: Abdominal Aorta, Appendix, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Spleen
- OB/GYN: 1st Trimester
- Procedures: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis
- Renal/Pelvis: Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Prostate, Renal/Bladder, Uterus, Vaginal
- Small Parts: Superficial Masses, Testicles/Scrotum, Thyroid
- Transplant: Renal
- Vascular: Aorta, Carotid, Color Flow, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial, Renal Artery Duplex
- Professional Skills Required: Isolation precautions, management/lead experience
- Preferred Skills: Cerner EMR experience
- Scrub Color: Any solid color
- Parking: Free with permit (completed during orientation)

Med Ninjas Job ID #20961. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
