Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns in a fast-paced obstetric department
- Perform patient triage and non-stress tests (NSTs) as needed
- Assist as the second nurse during deliveries and help manage overflow patients
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
- Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, delivery, or postpartum recovery
- Float to other hospital units (Med/Surg, CCU, or ER) as required
- Document patient care using EPIC EMR system
- Participate in on-call rotation as assigned by the OB manager
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a critical access hospital environment
- Ensure compliance with required certifications: NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)

Med Ninjas Job ID #20995. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
