Description

Job Summary – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN):

- Provides specialized nursing care to pregnant patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum.
- Monitors and assesses maternal and fetal well-being throughout the childbirth process.
- Assists physicians during labor, delivery, and cesarean sections.
- Cares for high-risk obstetric patients and a culturally diverse population.
- Maintains safe, compassionate, and effective care for both patients and newborns.
- Required to float within scope to meet facility needs, with travelers being the first to float.
- Manages an average daily census of 15-20 patients, with 11 rooms and 15 beds.
- Expected to see approximately 20 patient visits per day.
- May work weekends as needed to meet staffing requirements.
- Must possess at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
- California RN license required; pending licenses not accepted.
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed.
- Experience in postpartum care is preferred.
- Open to first-time travelers.

Med Ninjas Job ID #21036. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
