Job Summary (List Format):
Position: Per Diem NICU RN – Float Pool, Swedish Medical Center (Earning Power Contract)

- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years NICU RN experience
- Patient care experience with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Must float to Pediatrics (Peds) and Pediatric ICU (PICU); assigned only to newborns and infants

- Licensure & Certifications:
- Active WA RN license
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications

- References:
- 1 year of specialty-specific employment within the last 3 years, including one supervisor/charge RN reference

- Float/Location:
- Must float to all 7 campuses: Ballard, Cherry Hill, Edmonds, First Hill, Issaquah, Mill Creek, Redmond
- Highest need at First Hill, Edmonds, Issaquah

- Preferred Experience:
- EPIC charting experience

- Scheduling & Commitment:
- Required to schedule 5 days per week (Wednesday–Sunday OR Thursday–Monday); must work 3 days
- 2 shift guarantee per week
- 13-week contracts available, with possible extensions for consistent schedule compliance

- Orientation:
- Online virtual orientation every other Monday (partial compliance required 2 weeks prior)
- Virtual modules (~21 hours) assigned on Day 1
- 2 unit orientation shifts after completion, scheduled per RN availability

- Shift Details:
- 12-hour night shifts (1900–0730)

- Additional Details:
- Returning employees eligible after 6-month separation from any Providence/Swedish facility
- Cannot work at multiple Providence facilities simultaneously (perm, PRN, or travel)
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions allowed with facility approval
