RN – Postpartum Travel

Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks (traveler's choice)
Schedule: 3×12-hour or 4×12-hour shifts (traveler's choice)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in high-acuity Postpartum care.

• First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

• EPIC experience is mandatory.

• High-risk obstetric patient care experience required.

• Certifications: BLS and NRP.

• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend days per contract.

Required Clinical Skills

• Postpartum care and management of high-risk obstetric patients.

• Managing a standard census of 4 couplets (4 mothers and 4 newborns).

• Magnesium administration and monitoring.

• Pitocin administration.

• Foley catheter management.

• Postpartum hemorrhage management.

• Substance withdrawal management.

• Ability to handle census surges and potentially manage a fourth couplet as required.

Floating Requirements

• Issaquah Campus – Postpartum.

• Edmonds Campus – Postpartum.

• Labor & Delivery – second hour of recovery.

Preferred Experience

- JADA System experience for postpartum hemorrhage management.
