Job Summary (X-Ray Technician)

- Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in compliance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of all imaging equipment; assess safety and patient comfort during procedures.
- Monitor and identify the need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment, including setup, use, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Stay current with trends and advances in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and new imaging technology.
- Exhibit strong initiative, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Schedule & Other Notes:
- Backfill position; candidates must be available for immediate start.
- Do not submit candidates who have applied to any X-Ray Technician roles at Atlantic in the last three months.
- Schedule: 6pm-7am, rotating 7-week schedule, no on-call.
- Department: Radiology, Morristown.
- 13 hours per day, 39 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience as an X-Ray Technician.
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
- Valid NJ State RT License.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification.
- Proficiency in English (speak, write, read).
