Roles and Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent patients experiencing psychiatric, behavioral, and emotional health conditions.

Conduct patient assessments, monitor behavioral changes, and identify potential safety risks.

Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Apply crisis prevention, de-escalation, and therapeutic intervention techniques to manage challenging patient behaviors.

Administer medications, monitor treatment responses, and document patient progress accurately.

Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adolescent patients.

Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care.

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, behavioral health management, and discharge instructions.
