Travel MRI Technologist - Grapevine, TX 76051

• Assignment: 13 weeks, 11/23/2026 to 02/21/2027 (travel position)
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Sunday to Wednesday (40 hours/week)
• Requirements: BLS (AHA only), ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT; minimum 3 years experience with 1.5T and 3T magnets
• Interview: virtual or phone
• Scrubs: maroon

Job summary

Under the general supervision of a radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider, in accordance with established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures on time and according to exam protocol.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients, confirm the correct exam on the correct patient, and explain the procedure to patients and families.
• Positions patients and equipment and follows established imaging standards and procedures.
• Follows safety, infection-control and hand-hygiene policies; keeps equipment and work areas clean and working.
• Screens individuals for safe entry to the MRI environment and keeps documentation and imaging records complete and current.
