RN ICU
Location: Golden, Colorado
Specialty: ICU
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930), 36 hours per week, weekends included
Role Summary
- Performs independent and delegated nursing functions under accepted practice standards set by the state Board of Nursing
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
- Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
- Provides health teaching and counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
- Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
- Documents in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
Additional Information
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, based on business need.
- May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.
