Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Overview
- Location: Fayetteville, Georgia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 16 weeks
- Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Floating: Within facility and scope of practice, as needed
- Local candidates: Accepted
Experience
- Minimum experience: 1 year
- The unit accepts first-time travelers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- At least 1 year of Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
Schedule and Expectations
- Holidays: Travelers are expected to work holidays falling in the assignment period. One holiday: work it. Two: work both. Three: work two. Listed holidays are Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
- Return to work: Maximum 7 days
- Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time. Missing the deadline pushes the start back 2 weeks due to the biweekly orientation schedule.
- Orientation: Non-billable orientation hours are determined by contract length.
- Offer: Once the candidate signs and confirmation is sent, the manager has 48 hours to review the profile and confirm fit. An offer is available only if the candidate passes clinical review within return-to-work guidelines and meets facility requirements.
