• Preferred: School-based experience preferred.

• Requirements: Valid West Virginia Teaching Certification with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative instructional services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

• Adapt curriculum, teaching materials, and communication strategies to ensure accessibility across general and special education environments.

• Support the use and troubleshooting of assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and FM systems as needed.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, parents, and educational teams to support language and academic development.

• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to specialized goal development, and maintain compliant progress documentation.
