Job Details:
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Petersburg, WV
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 2197.60 - 2307.48
Schedule: 12 hours: 5:45 - 6:15 (Night shift is only one RT on shift or if census is low there may only be one)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PCOT; 2 years experience in specialty; ventilatory skills; able to work independently; Peds experience (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities:
- Manage ventilatory treatments including CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Nebulizer therapies
- Perform ABG draws and blood gas analysis
- Assist with intubation as needed and provide bedside airway management
- Set up nocturnal pulse oximetry and blood gases for outpatient care
- Support patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings
