Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Ohio

Start Date: January 4, 2027

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating day/night shifts. Rotating schedule occurs every 4 weeks with the same straight shifts for 4 consecutive weeks, then alternating to the opposite shift. Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday).

• Advanced cardiac monitoring with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV insulin protocol experience

• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients; float required within facility system
• First-time travelers considered with manager review

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care or telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous telemetry experience mandatory
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
• Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• MS/Tele experience, peripheral line care, and oxygen administration skills
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Ohio fingerprinting must be completed urgently upon contract signing
