Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist (Pediatric / NICU / PICU) – Indiana

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, every other weekend required. Must work 2 out of 3 paired holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Highlights:

• Pediatric specialty assignment with focus on NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Acute Care units
• Home unit assigned upon arrival (NICU, PICU, or Peds) with flexibility based on facility needs
• Floating between specialties and affiliate hospitals required
• Cerner charting system preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• 13-week contract with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Active Indiana Respiratory Therapist state license (or Indiana temporary license with permanent application submitted)
• NBRC RRT, ACLS, BLS certifications required
• NRP required if placed in L&D (may obtain after offer)
• PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years strongly preferred (Level I Adult Trauma facility experience considered for strong clinicians)
• Labor & Delivery experience required (primary placement area)
• Respiratory therapy education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Two supervisor references required
