Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Indiana

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts; every other weekend required; must work 2 out of 3 paired major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Highlights:

• Pediatric specialty focus with primary placement in Labor & Delivery, NICU, or PICU based on facility needs
• Minimum 2 years NICU experience required; L&D experience strongly preferred
• Float responsibilities include PICU and Pediatrics Acute Care units
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• 13-week travel assignment; first-time travelers accepted
• Up to 5 days of non-holiday time off may be auto-approved

Requirements:

• Active Indiana Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NRP certification (required for L&D placement; may be obtained after offer if applicable)
• PALS certification preferred
• Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years OR experience in a Level I adult trauma facility
• Minimum 18 months of respiratory therapy experience
• Education from a CoARC-accredited program and regionally accredited institution (CHEA)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Willingness to float between units as needed
