Description
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 12-hour and 8-hour shifts as needed (0700-1930 or 1100-2330). Weekend and holiday rotation required.

- Level I Trauma Center experience with combined adult and pediatric emergency care
- High-volume department with 200+ visits daily in a 67-room facility
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility

- Comprehensive emergency services including stroke center, cardiac center, and advanced specialty programs
- 4:1 patient ratio with full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
- Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
- Previous travel experience required
- Trauma Level II experience required; Level I experience preferred
- Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility
