Description
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Plano, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 4 weekends per 4-week schedule, 2 major holidays required

- 34-bed Neuro Progressive Care Unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
- Patient ratio of 1:4, with flexibility to 1:5 as needed
- Electronic medical records system: Meditech
- Collaborative team environment with experienced RN and PCT staff support
- Diverse case mix including stroke, TBI, seizures, post-operative craniotomy, and neuro monitoring patients
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Current Texas RN license or compact state license
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Neurological nursing background strongly preferred
- Progressive Care Unit or ICU step-down experience preferred
