Location: Montana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts may be possible). Every 3rd or 4th weekend rotation. Variable on-call shifts required: 8 shifts per month including 3-day weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays.

Highlights:

• Operate in a versatile, 2-room OR environment supporting OBGYN, Orthopedics, GI/General Surgery, ENT, Pain Management, and Dental specialties
• Float across all surgical services areas including Pre-op, Circulating, PACU (Phase I and II), and Endoscopy
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on assignment and acuity
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Critical Access Hospital setting providing comprehensive perioperative care from pre-op through discharge
• Opportunity to circulate C-sections and support a full range of surgical procedures including total joint replacements, laparoscopic procedures, and pediatric dentistry

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license (Compact state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience; at least 1 year required for consideration
• Critical Access Hospital experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required; NIHSS preferred
• Must be proficient in circulating C-sections (mandatory requirement)
• Well-rounded surgical services experience with ability to follow patients from pre-op through discharge
• Flexibility to work across multiple departments within surgical services
• Experience with general OR, ambulatory OR, pediatric and adult populations, and conscious sedation monitoring
• 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
