Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Montana

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Montana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (4-day, 10-hour shifts may be possible). On-call required 8 shifts per month including variable weekend and night coverage. Every 3rd or 4th weekend rotation required. Patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on assignment.

• 2-room operating room in a critical access hospital setting
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Full surgical services rotation: ability to follow patients from pre-op through discharge
• Float assignments within surgical services departments based on patient care needs

Requirements:

• Current, active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Critical access hospital experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to circulate C-sections (required)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties and OR skill sets including laparoscopic procedures, general surgery, orthopedic procedures, OB/GYN, ENT, and dental cases
• Experience with ambulatory OR settings and conscious sedation monitoring
• Ability to work with all age groups: pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Demonstrated flexibility to work across Pre-op, OR, PACU Phase I and II, and Endoscopy departments
