Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse – Michigan

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Bay City, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float pool assignment; every other weekend required

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and monitor condition trends throughout hospital stay
• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications including IV therapy
• Manage wound care and specialized medical equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education on post-surgical care, medication schedules, and discharge instructions
• Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Ability to work in a float pool environment across multiple units
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
