Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, weekend coverage required, float to like units as needed

Highlights:

• 14-week contract assignment with a 20-bed progressive care unit specializing in renal and medical-surgical patients
• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients per nurse across all shifts
• 24 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations with conditions including chronic kidney disease, sepsis, hypertension emergencies, and telemetry monitoring
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and more
• Exposure to specialized dialysis procedures including hemodialysis catheter management and peritoneal dialysis

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Telemetry certification required
• Demonstrated competency in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
• Experience with med-surg and telemetry patient populations
• All compliance documents and onboarding requirements must be completed within specified timeframes
