Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Indiana

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts; every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday). Must work 2 out of 3 paired holiday periods: November 27-28, December 24-25, and December 31-January 1.

Requirements:

• Active Indiana Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand prior to start date)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience with at least 18 months recent ICU experience
• Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
• Skills required include mechanical ventilation weaning, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, arterial blood gas interpretation and collection, intubation assistance, extubation, tracheostomy care, and airway management
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Must acknowledge and confirm comfort with every-other-weekend requirement prior to submission
