Start Date: December 14, 2026

Location: Ohio

Schedule: 3x12 hour day shifts; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays. Float requirements within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.

Highlights:

• Specialized abdominal transplant unit caring for kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:5 for PCU level care (combined ICU/PCU unit, but travelers care for PCU patients only)
• Epic electronic medical record system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• 22-bed unit with diverse case mix including transplant recovery, rejection monitoring, infections, AKI, and hepatology patients
• Telemetry monitoring, IV management, and advanced nursing skills including transplant care

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Skills required: IV starts and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, central line management, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and transplant care
• Must be available to complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
• Two professional references required (one must be from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
