Job Opportunity – Cath Lab RN (EP Experience Preferred) – Alaska

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Alaska

Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts; On-call coverage required 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 – Monday 0730); Approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of regular scheduled shifts

• Epic charting system in a 407-bed acute care hospital setting
• May float within scope to EP or Interventional Radiology as needed
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 13-week assignment with guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission; must have license in hand for final offer)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must maintain permanent address at least 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, including percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), cardiac stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and procedural sedation
• Experience with vascular access devices, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, and specialized equipment (IABP, Impella preferred)
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
• 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
