Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer – Pennsylvania

Start Date: December 7, 2026

Location: Hazleton, Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM (5x8 hour shifts); No regularly scheduled weekends; on-call and holiday rotation required as needed based on department needs

Highlights:

• Perform general ultrasound studies with vascular exams and limited OB procedures
• Support diverse patient populations including ED, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient services
• Work with Philips equipment and Epic charting system
• No floating required – dedicated department assignment
• 2-room ultrasound department with PACS integration
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy

Requirements:

• ARRT or ARDMS certification required (ARDMS AB, ARDMS OB/GYN, and ARDMS RVT preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of ultrasound experience preferred
• Strong general ultrasound experience required, including abdominal and renal/pelvic studies
• Vascular experience including arterial, venous, carotid, and Doppler studies
• Limited OB experience expected
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with Philips equipment and PACS preferred
• Valid Pennsylvania state license or certification required at time of application
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
