Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Cath Lab procedures is needed for a contract assignment. This opportunity involves providing care and support for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with a significant focus on teamwork and patient safety.

Schedule:

• 1 weekend per month
• Weekday call 4-5 days per pay period (weekend included in this total)
• Call coverage required: End of shift to 07:30 Monday-Friday as scheduled
• Weekend: End of shift Friday through 07:30 Monday

Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license
• Prior experience working in a Cath Lab environment
• Thorough knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
• Excellent communication and patient assessment skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and operating rooms for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist with patient monitoring and ensure timely interventions during procedures
• Accurately document patient information, medications, and post-procedure outcomes
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Respond quickly to emergencies and collaborate closely with physicians and other staff
• Provide post-procedure care and education for patients and their families

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
