Required:
Current RN license in the state of practice (or compact license)
BLS and ACLS certification
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred:
Emergency, ICU, or acute care nursing experience
PALS and TNCC (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in rural or critical access hospital settings

Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including triage, assessment, treatment, and stabilization
Respond to trauma activations, medical emergencies, and urgent care needs
Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per protocol
Operate and assist with emergency equipment (cardiac monitors, defibrillators, ventilators, etc.)
Collaborate with providers, EMS, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and transfers
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Educate patients and families regarding care, treatment plans, and follow-up
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Floating Requirements: This position may require the traveler to float to the CCU or Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) unit as needed
