Registered Nurse | Adult Psychiatric (Nights)
Windham Center for Psychiatric Care | Bellows Falls, VT | 13 Weeks | 40 Hours/Week | Night Shift

Seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN to provide inpatient mental health care to adult patients in a specialized psychiatric setting.

Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
- 40 hours per week.
- Every other weekend; holiday coverage as needed.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Small inpatient psychiatric unit with 10 beds.
- Traveler must have their own vehicle.
- Block scheduling is not accepted.
Key Duties:
- Assess and monitor adult patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Perform blood draws and other required clinical procedures.
- Recognize behavioral or medical changes and respond appropriately.
- Maintain patient documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent psychiatric nursing experience.
- Current Vermont RN license required.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Current phlebotomy experience required; blood draws are part of the role.
- ACLS and CPI certifications strongly preferred.
- Travel experience preferred.
- Current Psychiatry and Phlebotomy skills checklists required.
- One supervisory reference from within the past two years required.
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted with the profile.
