MRI Technologist | Nights
Berkshire Medical Center | Pittsfield, MA | 26 Weeks | 40 Hours/Week

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services at Berkshire Medical Center.

Position Highlights:
- Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
- Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
- Possible on-call responsibilities; after-midnight coverage is on call.
- GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment.
- Approximately 9 patients per shift.
- Always works alongside another technologist or tech aide; no solo coverage.
- Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Own vehicle required.
- EMR: Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
Key Duties:
- Perform MRI examinations and obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Position and monitor patients while following MRI safety protocols.
- Operate GE MRI equipment and maintain imaging quality.
- Complete accurate imaging documentation and follow department procedures.
- Collaborate with other technologists and support staff to maintain efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience.
- ARRT(MR) certification required.
- GE equipment experience required.
- Active AHA BLS certification required.
- Updated work history and MRI skills checklist required.
- One signed supervisory reference from within the past two years.
- Permanent address must be included in the profile.
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront; no more than 5 days will be accepted.
- Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and call as needed.
