Description

Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights
Location: Windsor, VT
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Start Date: December 7, 2026
Hours: 36 guaranteed per week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a community hospital. The ideal candidate is confident working independently in a critical access setting and providing respiratory care to patients across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

Operate and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation equipment.

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and assist with airway management and intubations.

Provide respiratory care using ventilators, PAP modalities, and high-flow oxygen.

Perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs).

Deliver care independently with minimal supervision, including weekend shifts.

Support home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Registered Respiratory Therapist experience.

Active NBRC RRT certification.

Active Vermont RRT license.

Active AHA BLS certification.

Cerner experience.

Critical access, community, or rural hospital experience.

Ability to work independently with respiratory equipment and modalities.

Reliable personal vehicle.

At least 6 months of travel experience preferred.

Patterns Hiring Job ID #72239. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
