Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – ER Nursing Contract in Boscobel, Wisconsin

Join a Wisconsin travel nursing team as an experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Boscobel. This 13-week Emergency Department (ED) contract offers $2,020–$2,130 per week, 36 guaranteed hours, and 12-hour night shifts in a critical-access hospital.

• Unit: Nine-bed emergency department in a Level IV trauma and critical-access hospital setting
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:3–4
• Call Requirements: No scheduled call or callback requirements
• Orientation: Eight hours

Travel ER RN Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate degree in nursing or higher
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NRP and TNCC certifications preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in a critical-access hospital environment
• Willingness to float to critical-access hospitals as needed; occasional floating to medical-surgical units may be required

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and timely emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Perform patient assessments, prioritize care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team in a 24/7 emergency services environment
• Respond effectively to urgent and emergent situations while maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with in-house physicians, laboratory services, registration staff, and on-call surgical and radiology teams
• Float to other designated units or nearby critical-access settings when operational needs require
• Maintain professional standards of care during night shifts, weekend rotations, and applicable holiday coverage
